I was so grateful to be able to work with Uhambo 8286 and the Linder College of Business study abroad class. Uhambo 8286 is a non profit that helps provide small business owners in South Africa with the resources they need to successfully grow their business. I worked with a lovely woman named Shakila. Her business is Bouncin Babies. She makes and sells custom baby clothing and linen. I worked with Shakila to create a whole new brand identity for her business and help her small business flourish. This project showed me how rewarding design work can be.

For Shakila’s brand I designed new business cards, flyers and stickers. I also designed a banner she can take with her to events and a gate sign for the front of her house. Another area I helped her with was social media. I provided her with new profile pictures and social media tips. I also created posts for her to use for her instagram and facebook. I also built her a website so she could have somewhere to display all of her products and provide costumers with more information.
