My name is Abby McNaughton and I am a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati. I received my Bachelor of Science in Design. I studied Communication Design through the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning.

During my time at the University of Cincinnati, I completed 5 co-op semesters while also working towards my degree. I interned for Uhambo 8286 in the Spring semester of 2021. This gave me to opportunity to work with a small business owner in Africa, where I helped her revamp her brand. This gave me a new outlook on design and opened my eyes to how much design can help someone flourish! I then did 2 co-op semesters at Kao where I worked on different beauty and skin care brands. After that I traveled to Fort Lauderdale Florida to co-op at Ubiquia as an UX/UI designer. This was a great growing opportunity both as a person and a designer. My final co-op was with Cloverleaf. I worked on a team with one other designer and grew my skills in brand application, and social media design. I was then hired at Cloverleaf as an Associate Graphic Designer where I was apart of a brand refresh and grew a lot professionally as a designer.

Outside of design, you can find me spending as much time as I can with friends, family and my dogs. I love trying new workouts, taking walks, reading, testing new fun hobbies, and shopping.

I am from a small town in Midwest Ohio called New Bremen. Coming from such a close community of people, friends and supporters has contributed a lot to my values as an employee and a designer. Having the experience of living in both a small town and a larger city has taught me how to adapt and communicate in different settings.
